With respect and concern

Representatives of TAIF-NK JSC visited the sponsored veteran Pavlov Panfil Grigorievich. One of the Nizhnekamsk heroes, who went to the front together with everyone in 1943 as a 17-year-old boy, for health reasons has not been able to attend ceremonial city events for several years, so company representatives always visit him at home. If for the majority of war veterans the war ended in 1945, then the army service of Panfil Grigoryevich — only five years later. He participated in the Soviet-Japanese war, for which he was awarded a medal "For Victory over Japan".  In 1950, Panfil Grigorievich was finally able to get to his home ground.

— Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer of our dear veterans from year to year. Time passes extremely quickly, but no matter how many years have passed, the war will always remain in our memory. The task of the current generation, our task is to preserve the memory of great heroes. Today we have come to visit Panfil Grigorievich to express once again our great gratitude to him and to say a big thank you for what we have nowadays, and that they were able to save a great country for us," said Vladimir Gatunok, Assistant General Director for General Affairs of TAIF—NK JSC.

Company representatives did not come to the veteran empty-handed. By tradition, they brought a set of groceries and helped to renew the furniture in his flat this year. Two years ago, in honor of the anniversary of the Victory Day, the TAIF-NK Management decided to make home improvement for the war veteran as a present.  Then, in the veteran`s flat the following has been done: wall papering, hanging ceiling installation, bathroom and toilet repair, bathroom fixtures and flooring replacement as well as balcony improvement. Now they continue to purchase the necessary interior items.

— Many thanks to TAIF-NK JSC. We feel their care, thanks that they do not forget him and visit him every year. Now Panfil Grigoryevich is 96 years old, of course, he is beginning to crack in terms of health, but he is very pleased and happy that he remains unforgotten, — says Tatiana, veteran’s daughter.

An important area of TAIF-NK’s social activity is the cultivation of spiritual, moral and patriotic values in young people, strengthening of family values and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Today, almost no city event of a patriotic orientation goes by without the company's active core. The company engages not only employees, but also their children to key public events dedicated to significant events or memorable dates. For example, in order for the younger generation to learn more about their country’s history during the years of the Great Patriotic War, and to plunge into its heroic past, the TAIF-NK management arranges excursions to the Hall of Military Fame of the search team “Neftekhimik”. Also, the refinery has been trying to support one of the best educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan — the Tatarstan Cadet Corps named after the Soviet Union hero Gani Safiullin for many years.
