The past weekend was extremely rich in sporting events for TAIF-NK JSC employees. The traditional TAIF-NK Mini Football Cup was held in the “Solnechaya Polyana” Park. On the same day, everyone could also pass the “Ready for labor and defense” standards.

This year, an enormous quantity of participants took part in the mini-football tournament - 9 teams, 7 people each. In total, more than 60 players competed for the coveted cup and the title of champion. The “Joker” team was one of the contenders for victory. It was created in 2014 and since then it has been among the top three winners every year. Marcel Kamaletdinov, the head of the Unit of shop No. 04 of the Gasoline plant, the captain of the team is a huge fan of football.

- Preparations for the mini-football tournament last all year long. We get together for training on a regular basis. Moreover, we regularly participate in the amateur football league of Nizhnekamsk, where we also demonstrate excellent sports results. We are trying to update the team and drawing up young people. I would like to note that our team plays not only football, but also volleyball, table tennis. This year we want to take part in the "Race of Heroes", - Marcel Kamaletdinov shared his plans.  

 “Dream” of Crude Oil Processing Plant is the major competitor of “Joker”. The secret of success lies in the members of the team. Most of the players are former professional football players.

- I’ve been seriously involved in football until the age of 20, I’ve repeatedly participated in competitions of various levels. I am very glad that such sporting events are held at our enterprise, where we can show our athletic abilities," notes Artur Kolotov the captain of the “Dream”, the head of production of TAIF-NK.

Vladimir Gatunok, Assistant to General Director for General Affairs, came to the ceremonial lineup and opening of TAIF-NK Mini-Football Cup. Addressing the participants, he stressed that holding such sporting events is not only a good opportunity to prove yourself and your physical abilities, but also to feel the team spirit, unite and communicate with each other.

- Such tournaments have already become a good tradition for us. We see a huge interest of the staff in various kinds of sport, therefore the company's management always supports holding of sport competitions and provides assistance both in organizing events and in encouraging winners. I am sure that this time, the Mini-Football Cup will be held at the proper level, it will be bright and spectacular. I wish you all fair sporting competition! - he said solemnly.

The fight between the teams for the first place and TAIF-NK Mini-Football Cup was serious. With each mini-football match the heat of the sport competition had become more intense. The participants showed real sportsmanship and team spirit. Friends, colleagues and relatives came to support the teams.

According to the results of the tournament, again the 1st place was taken by the "Dream" team of the Crude Oil Processing Plant, the silver was taken by HRCC and “Joker” team won the bronze. The winners and prize-winners received diplomas, cups and medals. The awards were presented by Maxim Novikov, TAIF-NK General Director.  

In parallel with TAIF-NK Mini-Football Cup, one could pass “Ready for labor and defense” standards in "Atom” fitness club. Within the framework of the All-Russian Sports Complex "Ready for Labor and Defense", the company's employees successfully passed the standards for long jumps from a standing position, raising the torso from a prone position, pulling up from a hanging position on a high horizontal bar (or a kettlebell snatch) for men, push-ups for women. The age of the participants varied from 26 to 59 years.   

Askhat Shaidullin, 59-year-old deputy head of Shop No. 02 of TAIF-NK Gasoline plant also came to check his physical abilities. 

 - “I like to participate in sporting events. During winter time I ski, in summer time I ride a bike, go roller skating, run a lot. Today I came here to show the young that age is not an obstacle for sports. Such events bring the team together, here you can chat with colleagues in an informal atmosphere, charge with a great mood and positive energy for the whole day,” Askhat Shaidullin says.

Renat Kurmanov, the Head of TAIF-NK Labor Protection Service, admits that the introduction of the "Ready for Labor and Defense" complex contributes to improving physical condition and, in general, facilitates the development of mass sports.

- “Our team is like one large family, we participate in all events together. Now we have decided that it is high time to try our hand at this not an easy field. We have coped with all the tests,” he noted.

Next week, again TAIF-NK employees will undergo tests - pass “Ready for labor and defense” standards for shooting from a pneumatic weapon, throwing a ball and running.
