 On November, 19, a Plenary meeting of the All-Russia Quality Forum “Best experience – for better life” dedicated to the World Quality Day and European Quality Week WQD-2009 was held in a hotel and recreational complex “Korston” in Kazan with participation of the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov.

TAIF-NK PSC and the English department of the company UOP Limited (USA) have signed the engineering and warranty agreements providing design of basic projects for processes of solvent deasphalting of tar and hydrocracking. |
On October 27, 2009 TAIF-NK PSC and the English department of the company UOP Limited (USA) have signed the engineering and warranty agreements providing design of basic projects for processes of solvent deasphalting of tar and hydrocracking. They have also entered into licensing agreements for provision of licenses for Solvent Deasphalting UOP / FW USA processes and Unicracking Process. The basic projects development will take about 6 months. The deal has amounted to more than 10 million US dollars.

 TAIF-NK Company became a winner in the nomination “Pollution Reduction Measures” among the IInd group companies (up to three thousand employees) according to the results of operations in 2008 in an annual competition “ECOleader” held by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Tatarstan Republic.

The annual report and the annual accounting reports, including the profit and loss statement, have been approved by the Decision of Shareholder of TAIF-NK PSC, the net income earned for the year 2008 has been distributed and the Board of Directors of TAIF-NK PSC has been elected. The membership of the Board of Directors has not been changed.

Commemorative event celebrating the 30th anniversary of the first production on the facility CDU/VDU-7 |
On April 17, 2009 in connection with the 30th anniversary of the first production on the facility CDU/VDU-7 a commemorative event has been held in the EC "Titan". At the ceremony the following veterans of production have been rewarded for many years of fruitful work and great contribution to the development of oil refining industry of Tatarstan Republic.

CDU/VDU-7 - 30 years! |
On April 9 it has been 30 years since the first production on the facility CDU/VDU-7. The facility CDU/VDU-7 of TAIF-NK PSC is a part of one of the three productions (production #1) of the Refinery Plant of TAIF-NK PSC and is the main technological link of the basic complex of petroleum refining of the Refinery Plant.

Under the Resolution of the Russian Federation Government #221 dated March 10, 2009 the RF Government Award in the field of science and technology in 2008 have been rewarded and the titles of “The Laureate of the Russian Federation Government Award in the field of science and technology" have been assigned to the General Director of TAIF PSC Shigaboutdinov Albert Kashafovich, the Deputy General Director of TAIF PSC Presnyakov Vladimir Vasilyevich, the General Director of TAIF-NK PSC Babynin Alexandr Alexandrovich, the Director of the Gasoline Plant of TAIF-NK PSC Kalimullin Amil Kamilyevich for the development of catalytic cracking - hydrotreating of sulfur raw materials and creation of large-scale industrial production of high-octane gasoline based on it.

TAIF-NK PSC is the winner of the competition "For outstanding achievements in the field of testing 2008" |
 Federal State Institution “State Regional Center of Standardization, Metrology and Testing in the Tatarstan Republic" organized the contest "For outstanding achievements in the field of testing 2008" among 78 licensed and analytical laboratories of Tatarstan. According to the results of the contest, the laboratory of gasoline plant of ТAIF-NK PSC became a winner in the category "Testing of chemical and petrochemical production" and was awarded the Laureate Diploma "For the efficient operation of management system".
