Lake Yurtovo is located close to Maidan (Nizhnekamsk public gathering place). An annual environmental campaign was arranged to clean up the reservoir within the context of National Ecology Project together with the regional branch of the "Russian Geographical Society" and TAIF-NK JSC employees. According to tradition, the coastline was cleaned by volunteers, the lake bottom by scuba divers.

As part of the celebration of Youth Day on the embankment of the Kama River, TAIF-NK organized an exhibition of products and interactive for the guests of the event. At the exhibition, anyone could get acquainted with the activities of the oil refining company, learn more about the products and the vacancies available for work today. The exhibition of TAIF-NK JSC was visited on this day by the Head of the Executive committee of the Nizhnekamsk Municipal district Ramil Mullin with his family and other city leaders. Also, as part of the celebration, the guests of the event were able to make memorable videos in a specially equipped video area.

The sports and cultural event was dedicated to the Youth Day and the International Olympic Day. The organizers of the competitions were the oil refining company, as well as the Atom and Orange fitness clubs.

The first commemorative event took place today at 4 a.m. at the Victory Monument. The TAIF-NK’s activist group honored the memory of the fallen soldiers with a minute of silence and laid red carnations at the monument. A city-wide public rally on the occasion of the mournful date was also held at the Victory Monument at 10 o'clock. The event was attended by the city management, representatives of the city-forming enterprises, deputies, Young Army Cadets (yunarmeytsy), schoolchildren, students and preschool children. TAIF-NK was presented by General Director Maksim Novikov. Also, representatives of TAIF-NK JSC laid flowers at the Bed of Honour in the city cemetery, where the remains of 19 soldiers of the 80th separate ski battalion are buried, and at 9 p.m. they took part in the city campaign, the Candle of Memory

Nizhnekamsk celebrated Sabantuy on a grand scale. Large-scale festivities took place on the territory of the sports and recreation center "Ilyinka". The most attractive place at the festival was not only the main stage of Maidan but also TAIF-NK JSC festival venue. The Company's employees have invested a lot of energy and effort to make it truly unique and interesting. Human sense receptors were used as the concept of the event. Who writes the history of the modern oil refining industry? A solemn ceremony of awarding distinguished employees of the Company took place in the TAIF-NK assembly hall. The event was timed to coincide with the Day of the Chemist of Russia, which is usually celebrated on the last Sunday of May. Professional skill contest "Best in Profession" was held among the employees of TAIF-NK JSC on the premises of the Lemaev College of Petrochemistry and Oil Refining. In the theoretical part of the competence “Instrument Man”, the participants of the contest had to answer 44 questions concerning the definition of instruments, the principles of their operation, the determination of errors, types of measurements and works carried out in metrology.

According to tradition, the main celebration in Nizhnekamsk on May 9 took place at the Victory Monument. Maksim Novikov, General Director of TAIF-NK JSC together with honored guests - veterans, home front workers, as well as Albert Karimov, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ramil Mullin, Head of Executive Committee of Nizhnekamsk Region laid flowers on the Victory monument and paid a tribute to the perished soldiers by a minute of silence.

Representatives of TAIF-NK JSC visited the sponsored veteran Pavlov Panfil Grigorievich. One of the Nizhnekamsk heroes, who went to the front together with everyone in 1943 as a 17-year-old boy, for health reasons has not been able to attend ceremonial city events for several years, so company representatives always visit him at home. If for the majority of war veterans the war ended in 1945, then the army service of Panfil Grigoryevich — only five years later. He participated in the Soviet-Japanese war, for which he was awarded a medal "For Victory over Japan". In 1950, Panfil Grigorievich was finally able to get to his home ground.
