Company TAIF-NK became the winner in the nomination “For Efficient Environmental Management” of companies and organizations nationwide in the annual values held by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan competition "ECOLeader" by the results of 2011.

A solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest, which took place on September 12 in a hotel and recreational complex “Korston”, was attended by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Chairman of the State Council Rimma Ratnikova, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Tatarstan Republic Artem Sidorov and other officials.

5 - 7 September 2012 in Kazan there took place the international specialized exhibition «Oil and Gas. Petrochemical Industry-2012», conducted with support of the President and Cabinet of Ministers of the Tatarstan Republic .

During the exhibition, there was a contest for "Best exhibit, project, or solution," organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Tatarstan Republic, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Tatarstan Republic, Tatneftekhiminvest Holding PSC, Academy of Sciences of the Tatarstan Republic. TAIF-NK PSC was awarded the 1-place Diploma in the nomination "Production with new or improved characteristics" for the development and introduction of diesel fuel EURO 5". Also TAIF-NK PSC was awarded the Diploma of the Union of Oil & Gas Producers of Russia "For the introduction of innovative environmentally sound technologies in the production of diesel fuel EURO 5."

At the Test Engineers Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, results were summarized for the competition "For outstanding achievements in the field of tests (measurements)" among the accredited testing laboratories of the Tatarstan Republic, accredited in the GOST R system and accreditation of analytical laboratories.

The meeting was attended by over 80 people, among them were the heads of food testing laboratories, chemical products, construction, monitoring of the environment and others.

At the Test Engineers Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, results were summarized for the competition "For outstanding achievements in the field of tests (measurements)" among the accredited testing laboratories of the Tatarstan Republic, accredited in the GOST R system and accreditation of analytical laboratories.

Among the 24 participants the laboratory refinery TAIF-NK PSC was the winner of the Contest "For outstanding achievements in the field of tests (measurements) 2011" in the category "Product testing in the refining industry."

On November 29th, 2011 a formal function to award winners of the Republican competition “Best goods of Tatarstan Republic” and All-Russian competition “100 best goods of Russia” was held in a National Cultural Centre “Kazan”. In the history of the competition for the first time the Tatarstan Republic was awarded a diploma of higher degree - Platinum diploma.

The award ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, as well as heads of ministries and departments.

416 different products and services from 212 companies took part in the competition on the republican level.

Products of TAIF-NK PSC is not the first year the winner of the contest, both at the national and at the federal level.

General Director of TAIF-NK PSC Amil Kalimullin was awarded with diplomas to the winners of the contest "100 best goods of Russia-2011" in the category "Products for industrial purposes" for the production of:

 

• Diesel fuel Euro, grade A, B, C, D, E, F
• Jet fuel RT grade

and a diploma winner of the contest "Best Goods of the Tatarstan Republic" for the production of:

• Unleaded gasoline Premium Euro-95 grade
• Road bitumen BND 60/90 grade
• Diesel fuel Euro, grade A, B, C, D, E, F
• Jet fuel RT grade.

All-Russian Competition Program "100 best goods of Russia" is held annually and is aimed at reviving the traditions of quality in Russia, support and promote the best Russian producers, promoting their brand.

Participation of TAIF-NK PSC in the given Program is an effective tool to improve the prestige and the possibility of the confirmation of high quality of the Company's products by the independent experts.

TAIF-NK PSC is the only manufacturer and supplier of high-quality jet fuel in the republic. This type of fuel is widely used in modern aviation as fuel for aircrafts.

Production of fuel RT is under the control of the quality management system that is certified for compliance with the international standards ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) and AS 9100 (Quality management systems - Requirements for any organization of aviation, space and defense industries).
The Company strives to ensure that the fuel and gasoline it sells draw no slightest criticism from consumers and the enterprise has leading positions in oil refining business not only in Russia but also abroad.

In compliance with the order № 127/TK-N dd. September 16, 2011 the Company is awarded a Certificate of Honor by the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostekhnadzor) "For the best organization of the introduction of new technologies, modernization of production, and increase of the reliability and safety of the enterprise’s production facilities."

TAIF-NK Company became a winner in the nomination “For Efficient Environmental Management” among the enterprises of a Republican level in the annual competition “ECOLeader”, organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources of Tatarstan Republic, based on the results of 2010.

The competition “ECOLeader” has been taking place in the Republic since 2004. Its main purpose is to promote a positive experience of the work of organizations and enterprises in the field of environmental protection and resource saving and to give incentives to the companies of the Tatarstan Republic to carry out environmental protection activities.

The award ceremony for the competition winners was held on June 14,2011 in the National Cultural Centre “Kazan” with participation of the Prime Minister of RT Ildar Khalikov, Minister and Ecology and Natural Resources of RT Artyom Sidorov, Minister of Forestry of RT Nail Magdeev, Deputy Chairman of RT State Council Rimma Ratnikova and etc.

Efficient performance and high responsibility of TAIF-NK in the field of environmental protection and provision of environmental and industrial safety was awarded once again.

TAIF-NK was awarded the Golden medal and a prize winner diploma in the competition “100 best organizations inRussia. Ecology and Environmental Management”.

The activities of TAIF-NK in the field of securing a favorable environmental situation and environmentally- safe living conditions in the region are based on application of the newest technologies and modern production methods compliant with the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001:2004 “Environmental management system” implemented in the company.

A prestigious award of the competition that is an honorary token “Environmental Specialist of the Year” was given to TAIF-NK PSC General Director Alexander Babynin.

The results of the competition “100 best organizations in Russia. Ecology and Environmental Management” were summarized in Saint-Petersburg in the framework of the Vth All-Russian Conference “Ecology and production. Prospects for the development of economic mechanisms of environmental protection”.

An award ceremony for the winners of a Republican competition “Manager of the Year –2010” was held in Kazan. Again, among its winners was Alexander Babynin, General Director of the oil refining company TAIF-NK.

He won in the nomination “For High Competitiveness” that proved not only his professionalism in management but also the company’s success in general.

Just to remind, the competition “Manager of the Year” is held in Tatarstan for the tenth time. This year, an enormous number of applications for participation was submitted; 152 of them were selected.

The best managers received the awards from the senior officials of the Republic including the President of the Tatarstan Republic (RT) Rustam Minnikhanov, RT State Advisor Mintimer Shaimiev, RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, and the Chairman of the RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin.

On November 25, a formal function to award 2010 winners of the competitions “100 best goods of Russia” and “Best goods of Tatarstan Republic” was held in a hotel and recreational complex “Korston” in Kazan. TAIF-NK won the following:

1. Federal Competition “100 best goods of Russia” for production of high-quality Russian products:

• Unleaded gasoline Regular Euro-92 grade;

2. A regional competition “Best goods of the Tatarstan Republic” in the nomination “Technical and industrial goods”:

• Unleaded gasoline Premium Euro-95 grade;
• Unleaded gasoline Regular Euro-92 grade;
• Diesel fuel Euro, grades A, B, C, D, E, F;
• Jet fuel RT grade;
• Road bitumen BND 60/90 grade;

Over twenty thousand enterprises and organizations competed for the right to produce the best goods inRussia; they submitted some fifty thousand commodities at a regional stage, and about twenty thousand commodities at a federal stage.

The competition of goods and services is conducted annually and is aimed at revival of quality traditions in the country, support and stimulation of the best Russian producers as well as recognition of their trade mark.

TAIF-NK became a winner in the nomination “For Efficient Environmental Management” among the II^nd group enterprises (with staff up to three thousand employees) in the competition “ECOLeader” held every year by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources based on the results of operations in 2009.

An award ceremony was conducted on September,30 in the National Cultural Center “Kazan” with participation of the Prime Minister of RT Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Chairman of the RT State Council Rimma Ratnikova and the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of RT Aglyam Sadretdinov.

On November, 19, a Plenary meeting of the All-Russia Quality Forum “Best experience – for better life” dedicated to the World Quality Day and European Quality Week WQD-2009 was held in a hotel and recreational complex “Korston” in Kazan with participation of the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov.

In the course of the meeting, an award ceremony for the winners of the V republican competition for Tatarstan Republic Government Prize for Quality 2009 was held.

Based on the competition results, by the decision of the Tatarstan Republic Government Prize for Quality Award Council TAIF-NK PSC was awarded a diploma of the competition for a Tatarstan Republic Government Prize for Quality 2009 and a Diploma of Tatarstan Republic Cabinet of Ministers “For Achievement of Significant Result in the Field of Quality” as well as a commemorative token.

TAIF-NK Company became a winner in the nomination “Pollution Reduction Measures” among the II^nd group companies (with staff up to three thousand employees) according to the results of operations in 2008 in an annual competition “ECOLeader” held by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Tatarstan Republic.

A prize-winner award ceremony took place on July,31 in the National Cultural Center “Kazan” with participation of the First Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Republic Ravil Muratov, the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of Tatarstan Republic Aglyam Sadretdinov, a State Advisor under the President of Tatarstan Republic for the issues of subsurface resources management, oil, gas and ecology Irina Larochkina and others.

TAIF-NK PSC was issued a prize winner diploma in the nomination “Environmental Efficiency of Economy” for the project “Establishment of a modern oil refining complex producing and selling motor fuels meeting international standards Euro-4”proving industrial safety and environmental responsibility of the prize-winner company and granting a right to use an official label “Environmental Project 2008”.

On December 16, 2008 by the decree of the President of Tatarstan Republic Mintimer Sharipovich Shaimiev UP-629 dated December 8, 2008 Republic State Prizes in sciences and engineering for 2008 were awarded in the Kazan Kremlin.

The prize winner award ceremony was held with participation of the President of Tatarstan Republic (RT), Head of RT President’s Administration, First Deputy RT Prime Minister, and the President of the Academy of Sciences.

A State Prize and a title “Laureate of Tatarstan Republic State Prize in the Field of Science 2008” were awarded to Deputy General Director TAIF PSC V.V. Presnyakov, General Director TAIF-NK PSC A.A.Babynin and Director of Gasoline Plant, TAIF-NK PSC A.K. Kalimullin for the work ”Development and implementation of light hydrocarbons one-stage treating process from sulfur compounds (H2S, RSH, COS, CS2)" .

In August 2006, TAIF-NK PSC started construction of LPG new desulphurization facility for butane-butylene, propane-propylene fraction and NK-70 light gasoline fraction. In March 2007, the facility was put into operation.

The main advantages of a new facility were improvement of the production output quality and upgrade of gasoline quality up to EURO-4 standard, improvement in the flow sheet of a cat-cracking complex unit, reduction of harmful impact on the environment, and increase of the plant’s capacity.

Due to introduction of modern technologies and up-to-date projects of the leading domestic research institutes, in May 2008 TAIF-NK successfully underwent certification procedure for production of gasolines meeting EURO-4 standard.

Awarding of a Republic State Prize in the field of science and engineering for 2008 became another pleasing and deserved event forTAIF-NK PSC and an incentive for further development of the company.

At the beginning of December, 2007 in the annual Russia and CIS Oil Refining and Petrochemicals Conference held in Vienna commission of the World Oil Refining Association awarded TAIF-NK PSC a honored title “Plant of the Year”. The achievements of TAIF-NK PSC team were highly recognized by the international professional community. Upon the results of the conference all the participant adopted a common view that one of the major priorities for oil refining and petrochemical companies in terms of raising profits is employment of advanced technologies and operation systems. The efficient operation of TAIF-NK PSC is the good commendable illustration of the given priorities implementation.

At the beginning of 2007, TAIF-NK in cooperation with an American consulting company IMPAC started the project implementation on the improvement of company`s operation effectiveness, cost reduction, increase in labor productivity and profitability.
